The Fourth Quarter is The Only One That Counts

In just a few days we’ll be entering the fourth quarter of the year and many of us have lost focus on the goals we set during January.

It’s always hard to keep your eye on the ball for the entire year, but this year has been even more challenging than most for many people.

Well there’s still hope. In fact, the 90 days we have in the fourth quarter (beginning October 1) is more than enough time to achieve some pretty incredible results. Stop and think about it:

90 days is usually plenty of time to see a significant result from a weight loss plan. Most businesses are launched during a 90-day period and many, many books are written in 90 days. In fact, Napoleon Hill wrote the classic Think and Grow Rich in under 90 days.

Our four seasons are 90 days apart. You can go from the harshest of Winter to the overflowing, abundant life of Spring in just 90 days. Most of our agricultural crops have a 90-day growing period. From seed to harvest in 90 days. It works with plants…and it works with dreams and goals.

Does that give you some hope that you might have a shot at turning this year around in the next few months?

Watch this video and get some tips on how you can do that. And please leave your comments below after you’ve watched the video  🙂

  1. Perfect timing, Vic. I just made a commitment to myself to lose weight and your e-mail came along. I have always loved your 4th qtr idea and that reminded me of the wealth of resources I have from you in my Championship/Maximum Momentum downloads. Many thanks and keep up the good work. You are an inspiration and a great coach!
“I can do this and I know I can”!

  2. Thanks Vic. I’m facing about 6 major challenges at the moment and your video helped streamline my thinking. Good one!

  3. Absolutely inspiring – thankyou very much – I love your coaching you make me feel that it is really possible and that one must just keep ones eye on the ball and believe.
    Thankyou thankyou thankyou.

  4. The best day of my last 90 days was when I stumbled across your website As A Man Thinketh and I purchased the book: Day by Day. Your inspiration is amazing. I am so excited that this video came into my email at the perfect time. I had it in my mind that 2012 was going to be a great year for a number of reasons, but after listening to your “The Fourth Qurarter is The Only One that Counts” I am re-thinking my strategies, and I am going to start my “2012” – today. October 1st is just days away. It is the fourth quarter of the year. It is going to be my best!
    Thanks Vic!

  5. Seeing all the successful people are over 40, sometimes puts a subliminal image that a one has to be more than 40 to succeed, so is that true?
I am a 23 years old and I am determined to succeed this year, before the end of 2011.

  6. Wow – well done. The production values are incredible. But the graphics and performance by you aside – the message is the real star. This is why I subscribe to your newsletter. Inspiration out of the blue as it were.
    Thanks Vic.

  7. Faisal, Mark Zuckerberg was 19 when he started Facebook. Gates was 19 when he started Microsoft. Age is a barrier to success only in the mind. V.

  8. Thanks so much Vic for giving me the boost that I need to stop bemoaning the fact that it is the “4th quarter” and get on with moving the ball down the field!

  9. this was the first time i had the pleasure of watching goals to go an I really liked your forth and goal theory. I am just starting to realize my life and am starting to drive my life instead of just steering it. My biggest challenge so far is just trying to find out what I want to do with my life. I have for the longest time just coasted along my life and let the current carry me to this point when i finally said to my self I am not going to float any more i am going to swim up stream. But I am having the hardest time trying to figure out were I want to go. And all this just came around my 30th birthday. So what I am asking i guess is where can I look or how can I start to form goals? Right now I feel like I am a empty container or a block of clay waiting to be molded. you see I have all the right parts to become anything but I need someone to help me put them together. Because the only thing I can come up with to become is an inspiration. When I asked my self who am I? I came up with this “I am a memory from the past and a vision for the future”

  10. Hello Vic. Thanks so much for the video and the messages. It is so timely. I purchased your program Getting Rich w/ eBooks. I was excited that this program crossed my path because I thought and believed that it is something I could do to get started with an online business. But now there’s a lot of that procrastination and pulling back going on, and I don’t understand. I just have to get on with it and “find a way to win.” I am reading your book “Day by Day with James Allen.” Awesome book! And as it is written on page 41, “dance until it rains.” I CAN DO THIS! I KNOW I CAN!

  11. Perfect timing! Im 57 years old and just purchased your course “getting rich with ebooks”, with the pay over four month plan because I did not have the resources to pay all at once sad to say. Just got a notice from the IRS that I owe $670.00 from 2009 so I most certainly neede to hear I can mke it in the fourth Quarter thank you so much.

  12. Wow, what an awesome video. Please let me have more of that. That was so inspiring. Keeping it going and not stopping reminds me of the story in Napoleon Hill’s Think and Grow Rich, the one about the guy who gave up three feet from gold. That book is Awesome as to is James Allen’s As A Man Thinketh which really blew me away and lead me to what I believe is my True Purpose in Life.

    Love

    Stevie

  13. love the james allen quotes. and what you said about working on ourselves. and no matter what the situations are, got to believe. so hard and yet so simple, perseverance therefore is the answer again, thank you for reminding us. we need it over and over. these are the positive affirmations you are talking about to create belief. conquering the doubt we have about our abilities to attain our dreams. the mightiest warrior is he that conquers himself. what is there to be conquered about oneself? -fears, insecurities, procrastination, negative thoughts, anything that stands between us and walking the steps of our ideal selves, becoming one and the same with our goal.

  14. hehe thank you for always inspiring me Vic. Just yesterday Oct 1, I had told myself I would reach my goal in this 3 months left but today I was starting to give up in just OCTOBER 2…when I saw this video I decided I WILL go on and not stop ever. As a 16 year old who’s struggled since January 2011 to improve my life I will not give up. I’ve had countless of failures, countless of times I’ve felt like giving it all up, countless of tears but I have learned my lesson. Good luck to everyone. Thank you Vic.

  15. Hi Vic,
I like your 4th quarter video, watched it twice and intend to watch it several more times. At 81 I am in my 4th quarter – so – it is of special interest. Thanks, Don Reinders

  16. Your comment on how to get the involvement of one’s spouse in a goal or dream is worth more than a million dollars. GOD bless you for the hint.
